This is my first attempt at blogging.
I am an artist whose medium is fabric, oils, water color, beading. I am a quilter. :)
I live in a remote area at the foot of the Southern Sierra Mountains in CA. And at this moment I am watching the sunrise over a mountain formation that can be seen from my window. It is the shape of a giant clamshell. It is a gift to watch the changes of the seasons on the fan.
I have two grown and married sons who grew up here and moved to the city. The oldest wishes he could move back, but there isn't a job market up here and he doesn't want to travel the way my sweetheart does.
We are expecting our first grand baby in December. Got to finish those quilts.
Oh, that and the 25 others that I am long-arm quilting for my clients! busy, busy, busy.
